Lauren B. Edelman is a litigation associate with Honigman. Her practice primarily focuses on intellectual property litigation. She is involved in a variety of litigation matters regarding patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, as well as trade dress, trade secret, and contract related matters. Her practice extends beyond litigation and includes clearance, procurement, maintenance, licensing and enforcement of trademark rights.
Prior to joining Honigman as an associate, Lauren worked for Brooks Kushman in its litigation and trademark practices. She also served as a case evaluator for the American Bar Association Intellectual Property Section on the organization’s Copyright Litigation Sub-Committee and as a student attorney for the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Project.
She holds a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts from Wayne State University, where she graduated with honors. While a student at Wayne State University Law School, Lauren served as President of the University’s Intellectual Property Association (WIPSA), as well as director of networking for the Jewdiciary, Wayne State’s Jewish Law Students Association.
Lauren is on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Bar Association of Michigan, and is also an active member of the Michigan Intellectual Property Inn of Court.
